Korean Homeroom Teacher (Early Childhood Education)

DUTIES 

• Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the school early years curriculum.
• Inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve. 
• Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge. 
• Maintain accurate and professional communication with parents, ensuring parents are updated with children status and progress.
• Liaise with Early Years Principal to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom. 
• Contribute to the extra-curricular activities program and participate in school activities such as Open Day, Admissions Day, After School Activities, PD Day or PTC Day. 
• Other tasks as assigned by Early Years Principal.

REQUIREMENT

1. Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Early Childhood Education (Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject is preferred)
• Teacher’s license holder.

2. Experience

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Education.
• Previous experience in international school is highly preferred.
• Curriculum development knowledge

3. Skills & Knowledge

• Native Korean speaker
• Proficient use of English
• Creativity/flexibility/adaptability/enthusiasm for teaching diverse learners from different cultural backgrounds/languages/abilities/interests/personalities.
• Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning including online learning management system, online collaboration tools or online assessment tools
