We are seeking a qualified Regional sales manager based in HCMC to guide a team of ambitious sales representatives in the Indochina region. The ideal candidate will possess fluent English communication skills and an international mindset, with experience working in diverse cultural settings. Expatriates are welcome to apply.

Team Management:

  • Strategically recruit and onboard sales team members for the Asia region, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Set clear and achievable objectives for sales representatives, providing regular feedback and performance monitoring.
  • Offer coaching and support to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategic plans for time management and travel schedules to optimize efficiency and maximize productivity.

New Business Development:

  • Prioritize engagement with End Users, General Contractors, and Architects across Asia to drive new business opportunities.
  • Expand and leverage professional networks to identify and connect with potential clients and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to tailor approaches and proposals to address client needs effectively.
  • Manage participation in trade shows, industry events, and customer entertainment activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new business prospects.

Sales Strategy:

  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and ongoing support, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Enhance distribution channels by maximizing coverage through dealer/partner networks.
  • Develop and execute a robust 5-year pipeline growth plan, focusing on aggressive expansion strategies.
  • Cultivate partnerships with major construction and cloud companies, as well as end users, to secure buying agreements and drive product adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with the APAC sales and engineering teams to capitalize on all available sales opportunities.
  • Work in tandem with the APAC BID manager to deliver accurate tenders and pricing lists, ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination with international data center clients, consultants, architects, and cost managers to optimize relationship management and product mix across the APAC market.

Dealer Network Management:

  • Evaluate and optimize the existing dealer network to ensure alignment with the Company brand and objectives.
  • Provide support and resources to develop existing dealers, aiming to have two quality dealers in each sales region.
  • Manage and update distribution agreements with both new and existing distributors, ensuring compliance and mutual benefit.
  • Support dealers in enhancing their architectural presence to promote the products effectively.
  • Address dealer inquiries and ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project management or related field; emphasis on business and marketing preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Data Centre industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal relationship management, fostering strong connections with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Possess a keen business acumen and deep technical expertise within the industry, enabling effective decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Proven track record of success throughout the entire sales process, from strategic planning to deal closure, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills within the Data Centre industry are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and persuasive interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
